Re: [linux-tr] please help on madge tokenring adapter

This looks to me like you've recompiled the kernel without these modules
configured as 'module' (or absent entirely), but the modules are
floating around from a previous kernel compile.

I'd say clean out your modules directory (or better yet, isn't 2.0.37
available?) and compile a new kernel, making sure to do a 'make clean'
as well as making sure that you say <M>odule for the things that you
need.

Those are the sorts of messages I get if I happen to re-do a kernel and
forget to clean out all the modules from the previous incantation (for
example, if I do a kernel compile on a new install, and the distribution
has put every module known to mankind on the system).

Many (most?) people use separate directories for the modules for each
kernel compile, and then link the version directory to the one with
the current modules.

My guess is that your Netware problems stem from the fact that your
ipx module isn't loading. Unless of course you're running Netware 5
in native IP mode.

Probably has very little to do with the mtok.o Madge module, since
you're able to get IP working.

P.S. I could be totally wrong :)
